Vacancy: Pool Boy / Gardener

Location: Sunsan Studio Ahangama, Nakanda

Job Type: 3 hours a day / 2 days a week

Job Summary:

An urgent vacancy for a Pool Boy/Attendant is available, requiring a reliable, proactive individual to manage pool cleanliness, water treatment, and guest service in a hotel or residential setting. Key duties include cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment maintenance. In addition you need to maintain lush, well-kept outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, removing weeds, and general garden upkeep. No formal qualifications required—on-the-job training provided. Ideal candidates are physically fit, reliable, and passionate about nature.

Key Resposibilities:

• Physically fit with good stamina for outdoor work and manual labor.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
• Passion for nature, gardening, and maintaining outdoor spaces.
• Ability to follow directions and work both independently.
• Comfortable using basic gardening tools and equipment (mowers, pruning shears, blower, trimmer, etc.) safely.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to identify maintenance needs and suggest simple improvements.
• Basic safety awareness and adherence to site rules and safety procedures.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Optional (if applicable):

• Prior experience in pool maintenance or cleaning is often preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
• Pool maintenance knowledge: Basic understanding of pool chemistry (chlorine, pH levels), skimming, vacuuming, and cleaning filters.
• Equipment handling: Safe use of pumps, vacuums, water testing kits, and chemical dispensers.
